Clean River Project e.V.
Paddling and photo art for clean rivers and seas! The Clean River Project is a multi-award-winning environmental, art and education project that campaigns for clean rivers and seas throughout Germany and has set itself the goal of reducing plastic waste pollution in German waters. Our motto is: clean up, shake up, educate! At our CleanUps, we clean up with volunteers. We work together in canoes and on foot to remove plastic waste from rivers. We then creatively showcase the rubbish we have collected. In our photo art exhibitions, we shake things up and raise awareness of the problem. We also give talks and organise school projects. Our aim is to initiate behavioural changes in each individual, promote a conscious approach to plastic as a recyclable material and make a difference together!
