Lilipad e.V.
Lilipad e.V. is a nonprofit organisation founded in Berlin in 2017. We harness the power of reading and education to improve the well-being and life prospects of children affected by social inequity. First, we set up multilingual libraries: safe, inspiring and warm spaces that are easy to access. Then, we make these spaces come alive through engaging workshops, events and readings.
Our libraries are in Berlin (Germany), Casablanca (Morocco), Jinja (Uganda) and Paris (France). In Berlin, our work is mainly dedicated to refugee and migrant children.
